Lately my girlfriend has taken to doing this as well for me and this may be because it was herself that led me to ‘The Humans’ as she had read and heard nothing but good things about it and was dying to read it herself.Īfter strolling down the main street in Wexford one day we found a copy and it was quickly purchased. Having devoured two of his novels so far with a third sitting impatiently in the ‘to read’ pile I find myself keeping an eye out for his other offerings whenever I find myself in a book shop.
I’ve added more and more authors to this list over the last few years and the one that I’m hooked on at the moment is Matt Haig. If you’re a regular reader, you probably know what it feels like to come across a writer that you just can’t get enough of.
